Help - Using the AIP
The electronic version of the UK AIP contains identical pages to those of the printed paper publication.
The AIP is comprised of three main catagories:
General (GEN)
National regulations, National requirements, Authorities, International agreements and differences from ICAO Standards.
En-Route (ENR)
Instrument and visual flight rules, airspace classifications, Air Traffic Services (ATS), ATS routes, navigation systems and en-route charts.
Aerodrome (AD)
Information, Charts and Procedures for individual aerodromes and heliports.
Each category has a Contents List with blue highlighted section headings. Clicking on a highlighted heading will take you to the start of an individual section or group of sections. Once the beginning of a section is displayed, the facilities of Adobe Acrobat Reader (such as scroll, page up/down and find) should be used to locate and display the required information.
